WHAT’S A LOVE WAVE PARTY?
You know those big waves you see people doing at stadium events? Where everybody stands up and down lifting their arms in a big wave that continues around the stadium until it comes to an end?
Well, we’re going do the same thing! Except we’re going to use our collective heart’s energy to send…
A HUGE CONTINOUS WAVE OF LOVE ENERGY FROM COAST TO COAST ACROSS THE UNITED STATES IN TANDEM WITH THE SOLAR ECLIPSE
On Monday August 21st, we’re going to come together (virtually) and combining the energies of our hearts (I’ll show you how via meditation) with that of the total solar eclipse (very powerful energy) we’ll be spreading big waves of love and compassion across the United States from coast to coast.
WHY THIS LOVE WAVE PARTY?
So many of you, myself included, have been feeling great amounts of sorrow, anger, frustration and helplessness in light of recent events. Many of us are struggling with what our role is and how we can create positive change in the world. In the face of so much hate, it’s so easy to get stuck and not do anything. My husband and I have struggled too.
Then I read these words in the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Ten Ways to Fight Hate: A Community Response Guide”
“Use whatever skills and means you have.”
“Be creative. Take action. Do your part to fight hate.”
I love energy work, the husband and I both love science AND we have this spectacular total solar eclipse taking place across the US that is bringing people (and energy) from all over together.
The minute I saw the band of the eclipse’s path across the nation, I “saw” along with the band, a huge wave of love sweeping over the United States.
That’s when I knew we had to throw this virtual party.
I know how powerful the collective energy of our hearts is. I know how our heart’s energy impacts and influences others. I know how powerful it is when we come together and band our hearts together for good. Plus I love throwing a great party!
So we invite you to join us and the Love Wave Party to spread love energy across the United States (and beyond) on Monday August 21st 2017 .
HOW DO I JOIN AND RADIATE LOVE INTO THE WORLD?
IT’S EASY.
1) Find a 5-15 min time slot that works best for you on 8/21 between 9am to 1pm PDT. (You can use this cool animation from Time Magazine showing the eclipse in your area, and use your zip code to find out when the eclipse will be nearest to you, or choose a 15 min time block that works. (You can always go for multiple sessions too.)
The goal is to have continuous unbroken waves of love sweeping the nation from 9am till 1pm PDT. So at a minimum we need at least 32 loving folks to join my husband and I. More are welcome too!
DON’T FORGET TO SCHEDULE IN YOUR CALENDAR and please go to the Facebook events page to take the poll showing the time you’ve chosen. This way – we’ll know we’re covered from Coast to Coast!
2) Radiating love is a three step process. When your time comes, get into a comfortable positon, bring your awareness to your breath and
1) breathe in and out of your heart (1 to 5 min), then
2) breathe love into your heart (another 5 min or so), then
3) breathe and spread love throughout your entire body and then radiate that love out (5 min)
Depending on your meditation experience aim for anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes in your chosen time slot/s for one session. And know that even if you only do five minutes of step 1, breathing in and out of your heart – you are contributing to the wave. And if you don’t have 5 minutes, even taken a moment to hold love in your heart will help boost the wave.
PARTY FAVORS: I’ll be creating a Heart LOVE audio mediation and posting it to the FB event page this weekend. You can use this to help guide your love, or do you own version. Whatever works for you!
You can send love from your home, office, school, parked car, outdoors…you can radiate love alone, with others in person and of course with all of us virtually too!
